Vidikron Vision 90 DLP Projector

vidikron_90.gifVidikron proudly introduces our latest high definition digital home cinema projector, the Vision Model 90. The Vision Model 90 incorporates a three-chip high definition DLP light engine with 1280 x 720 resolution. It is specifically engineered to excel in light-controlled home theater room environments, providing outstanding white field uniformity, accurate color palette, maximum brightness and enhanced contrast performance.

Vidikron enhanced its lineup of HD projectors by launching the new Vision Model 90. If you’re looking at creating your own private theater, look no further. Vision Model 90 uses a 3-chip DLP light engine for great image quality.

The Model 90 also boasts cinema-grade anamorphic optics to show CinemaScope 2.35:1 films for increased brightness and resolution. Also at the ISE in Brussels I was able to see the Vidikron projectors.

Offering native resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels for smooth images, you get a precise color palette as well as white field uniformity. Thanks to Imagix video processing, image quality is enhanced even from standard video sources. Video fidelity and gray scale tracking exceed standards set by the Imaging Science Foundation (ISF) for superior B&W performance.

The CineWide™ with AutoScope™ system was developed
exclusively for select Vidikron projectors.

CineWide with AutoScope technology provides uncompromised widescreen reproduction of movies originally filmed in the CinemaScope™ 2.35:1 format.
It maintains constant vertical height on the screen just as in a movie theater. When a viewer transitions from 1.78:1 (16:9) program material to 2.35:1, the image simply gets wider while full height is maintained.

Through a combination of software, electronics and remote controlled motorized anamorphic optics, the projector is able to use the full pixel array on its LightAmp™ DMD™ or D-ILA™ chips, thereby producing a 2.35:1 image with enhanced resolution and increased brightness. No resolution is lost to annoying black stripes on the top and bottom of the screen that contain no picture information.

CineWide with AutoScope is available on the Vision Model 90 and 100 projectors.
