2005_289371134747152_infocus_in72_projector_back.jpgInFocus wants you to experience something different with their new line of digital projectors. The entire line features the Play Big entertainment portfolio which provide stunning images ranging from 60-144 inches.

The IN72 is an affordable 480p resolution projector for consumers who are looking for an affordable package.

The IN74EX features a 576p resolution which provides a nice balance between DVD resolution and HDTV. The EX stands for exclusive which means this particular model will be available exclusively through authorized custom home theater dealers.

While the IN76 is the high end HD projector with a 720p native resolution.

Based on the latest Texas Instruments enhanced definition DLP (Digital Light Processing) chip, all three projectors feature, auto-ceiling mount detection, integrated table-top pedestal, quiet operation and low light pollution case. The video image is further enhanced with Pixelworks DNX video processing for “superb brightness, contrast and overall video quality.”

InFocus claims refined and minimalist “Gloss Black”, and high performances for these new models. The final specifications will be unveiled at the CES 2006. The projectors will be available during the fist quarter 2006 in the USA, and hopefully in February or March in Europe.

The three models will be aesthetically identical, same chassis and design. What will distinguish them will be the DLP Matrix resolution. InFocus claims that they will be provided with all necessary connectivity for HD displays.

All 3 projectors will be available in the first quarter of 2006 and will sell for $1299 (EUR 1070), $1999 (EUR 1650), and $2999 (EUR 2470) for the IN72, IN74EX, and IN76 respectively.
